Mountmorey Cherry

Montmorency is the classic tart pie cherry, hardy enough to handle Wyoming winters and dependable for a backyard fruit tree. Self-pollinating, so one tree will set fruit, though you'll get a bigger crop with a second cherry nearby. Plant it in full sun on well-drained ground and keep deer fenced off the trunk while it's young.
