Colorado Blue Spruce

Colorado Blue Spruce is the classic mountain-west evergreen, with stiff silver-blue needles and a tight pyramid shape. Handles wind, cold, and dry ground, which makes it a solid pick for windbreaks, shelterbelts, or a stand-alone specimen out in the yard. Give it full sun and room to spread at the base, and don't crowd it against the house.
