Aspen

Quaking Aspen is the classic mountain tree, white bark and round leaves that flutter and turn gold in fall. Plant it in groves for fast screening or fall color in the yard. Give it full sun and decent drainage, and keep it away from foundations and sewer lines since the roots sucker and spread.
